I made a mysql view of usermeta below. However i only want two meta keys ('rabies' & 'dhp') in separate columns. I tried adding the meta_key and meta_value columns twice in the view but when filtering in WpDataTables, it filters both at the same time.
How can I accomplish getting 'rabies' in one column and 'dhp' in another column when they originate in the same meta_key column?
---
SELECT
xbl_usermeta.`meta_key`,
xbl_usermeta.`meta_value`
WHERE meta_key = 'rabies'
OR meta_key = 'dhp'
FROM xbl_usermeta
Hello Matt.
You will need to do something like explained here: https://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/45532/create-multiple-columns-from-a-single-column-filtering-criteria
Personally, I'd go for the second approach found on that link, with subqueries, but in that case you will not be able to use a view, since subqueries can't be used in views.
Kind Regards,
