    We have just acquired the license for your fabulous plugin. But with that said, we are disappointed by a feature that we consider essential for a beauty business, spa, massage center, or yoga center. In our case, we are a massage center, and all our massage services include individual service, four-hand massage service, or massages for couples with 2 masseurs.

    1- We see that there is no option to make a reservation for a service with 2 employees (masseurs). I have seen other previous tickets that ask for this option and your answer is that you contemplate it for future updates. I think it is an option to implement as soon as possible because some of us who have bought the license find ourselves in the situation that this plugin does not work for us. The solution is not to sync Google Calendar with Amelia, the solution is for Amelia to have this native option. I ask you to find a solution so that this plugin is perfect!

    2- We have 2 massage centers. In each of them there are several massage cabins. We need to be able to make reservations also by room to be able to see the availability for massages. It is very good to have the availabilities of the employees, but just as important is to be able to link the reservation also to the workspaces.
    We have created a custom field to be able to save this handicap, but we would need to have the option of performing a filter or search within the calendar or within reservations where we can see the reservations by room (just as there are searches by services, employees, and locations) . This is possible?

    3- In the Notifications via SMS section, we have bought a package of credits to test SMS sending. In the ‘Rates’ menu, you can see the rates that are charged for each SMS depending on the country. We have done tests and the prices do not match, in fact it is double or triple the price charged than the price offered. In the SMS history we see that there is a column 'segments', and 2 segments are charged, and when we have added a custom field in the personalization message that is sent by SMS, we are billed for 3 segments. Can you explain to me well how this works? And why is 1 additional SMS charged for each segment added to the message?

    I don't want this ticket to be interpreted as a criticism. The Amelia plugin is great !! The most complete we have found. But we would like to finish customizing it for the type of business it is focused on. I'm sure this will help make the program much more competitive and increase sales for us.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1. Yes, I totally agree with you. Our developers couldn't implement his feature yet since that would require crucial changes in the code. However, we recently got new members of our developer team, and hopefully, the development process will speed up from now on.

    2. Unfortunately, at the moment there's no workaround since you have Employees AND Rooms. Sometimes we recommend our users to set venues or any rental items as Employees in order to avoid overbooking, but it won't work in your case.

    3. The thing is, our SMS provider is charging er segments (like most providers, I believe), but there's a trick: special symbols like ñ‎, for example, are being counted as 5-7 usual symbols. Therefore, it's always better to check the SMS length with a calculator. We can recommend this one: https://sakari.io/sms-length-calculator/

    Thus, if you use special symbols, you probably will be able to modify the SMS template the way it will become "shorter".

    Hi Liza,

    Thank you for your reply. We hope that you can solve point 1 as soon as possible.
    Another question: In the employee file it is required to put an email as necessary. We do not work with employees by mail, we only do it by SMS notification. Is there a way to disable in general mode so that notifications are not sent to employees by email? In the configuration section we only see this option for email notifications to customers. Another option would be that the email field is not required and so we can leave it blank.

    Unfortunately, it's not possible to change Amelia's logic since the plugin recognizes Users by their email addresses and assigns permissions accordingly.

    However, you can uncheck the email notifications to Employee on the Amelia -> Notifications page, and then they won't be sent out:

    The truth is that we have found a solution to all the points that I have been reporting these days, and we will continue working with the program. The Plugin is amazing!
    The only point that we have left and that we consider to be very important that it can be carried out, is to be able to include more than one employer in each appointment (for four-hand massages and couples massages). I hope you can expedite this improvement as soon as possible. For everything else, thank you very much for the program and for your support system.

    Thank you for your kind words, on a behalf of my team I can say that we highly appreciate that!

    Yes, I totally agree with you: we received plenty of requests regarding this feature, and it wasn't implemented only due to some code limitations. However, we have new members of our dev team, so, hopefully, the development process will speed up in the nearest future, and we will be able to implement all the features that our users have been waiting for.
