Hey everyone!
With the holiday season upon us, we want to share our upcoming working hours:
- New Year: Our team will be off on January 1st and 2nd. We’ll be back on Friday, January 3rd, to respond to any messages received during this time.
- Weekend: As usual, we don’t work on weekends, so January 4th and 5th will also be non-working days.
- Orthodox Christmas: Our office will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, January 6th and 7th for the holiday.
After that, we’ll return to our regular schedule and assist you as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards and happy holidays!

Hi,
I noticed a problem very annoying. This happens in FrontEnd. Amelia must be configured to use password connection for customers.
I think it is related to customers email already existing in wordpress user list but never be created in Amelia.
To reproduce it :
- First, the email user must exist in wordpress but not in WPAmelia (my website used woocommerce before Amelia, so i have many users already existing)
- Then, in frontend I book a service as customer. I put the email of the user above (and name, surname, ...) in Amelia to confirm my order.
What happens:
> The customer is well created in Amelia's Backend
BUT
>I do not receive a notification for user creation (I think it is because the user already exists in WP)
> I cannot connect to Amelia Customer Panel with the email user and its old password
> I cannot reset the passord within Amelia Customer Panel as the user never received the email notification with password reset
Rgds,
Hi Stephen,
thank you for reaching out to us
Amelia Customer panel is at the moment fully separate from the WordPress Users.
When you fully set up the Customer Panel, and customer comes to the site to book (they don't have to exist in Amelia > Customers as a customer), they will receive Appointment Approved notification that will contain previously set customer panel url placeholder (set by you during Customer Panel set up process).
When they click that link they are taken to the panel where they can choose the option Forgot Password. This triggers the other Notification called Customer Panel Access, which also needs to contain the same placeholder. This placeholder turns into a link that will take them to the password creation screen.
When you activate Automatically Create Amelia Customer, this is for the WordPress Amelia Customer role; they receive an email from WordPress upon booking, so that they can log into the backend and manage their customer information and bookings.
Great it works!
Token for resetting password is working, as the auto subscribe of the customer.
Thanks!
