We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello !
I wanted to know if it was possible to set a default filter not visible by visitors, the filter could be set in the shortcode?
The idea would be to use the same table several times, but not with all the information displayed and the user can't remove it via filters on the front office. I will also need it to show or hide a row according to a date (before this date, the row is not visible by the visitor, after yes).
Waiting for your feedback,
Have a nice day !
Hi Jean-Christian
Thank you for reaching out to us.
You can add a filter through the shortcode if you assign one of our placeholders to column settings/filters/predefined filtering value.
If you add %VAR1% as a predefined filtering value to ColumnA, for example, it will load all the data (because the placeholder is not defined in the Placeholders tab above the table). Then, when you add the shortcode like:
[wpdatatable id=1 var1=150] it will filter the table per columnA with the value of "150".
I hope this helps, do let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thank you for your feedback!
However, with this method the filter is visible to the visitor and he can remove it which doesn't help.
Maybe this could be a new feature?
Do you have a solution also to hide a line before a date?
Have a nice day!
Hi Jean-Christian
You can simply remove the filtering option from the table so your clients cannot modify the results.
