I have two questions about the best way to set up the services. I run a coaching business for cyclists.
1. I offer testing as a service. The client does the test, and then I offer several ways of interpreting the test.
I have it set up now as three different services. Two of them require a time to meet; however, the meeting takes place one or two weeks after the test is purchased.
What is the best way to set this up? As a service? Something else?
2. I also offer monthly coaching. Currently, I use Quickbooks to send monthly invoices to clients, which is a pain.
Is there a way to set up a recurring payment in Amelia, so that a customer simply connects a credit card to the account?
1. You can set up how much in advance customer can book (2 weeks) so once the initial test appointment is done customer will be able to book the next one in 2 weeks. And you can adjust Minimum time required before booking as well.
2. Unfortunately, at the moment there's no option to set recurring payments aka subscriptions in Amelia itself. One of the reasons is that Amelia doesn't store any payment details (what makes it so GDPR-friendly, on the other hand).
We are always looking for ideas on how to make Amelia better. So if you have a couple of minutes, please suggest this feature on our website.
Probably, it can be achieved with some third-party plugin or service, such as WooCommerce's Subscription, but we didn't test it with any subscription plugin, that's why we can't be sure if it will work flawlessly.
Our integration with WooCommerce is payment based, however, for now, only for single transactions.
The testing procedure does not happen on a schedule. It's simply a service that you can buy online, essentially a product. We don't need to schedule anything.
That would be a bit tricky, as Amelia does require an employee to be assigned (but they can be hidden from the client), and a work schedule to be made.
You could make this one as an Event instead to avoid "pick time and date" step.

I didn't ask question number one very well!
