Hey everyone!
With the holiday season upon us, we want to share our upcoming working hours:
- New Year: Our team will be off on January 1st and 2nd. We’ll be back on Friday, January 3rd, to respond to any messages received during this time.
- Weekend: As usual, we don’t work on weekends, so January 4th and 5th will also be non-working days.
- Orthodox Christmas: Our office will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, January 6th and 7th for the holiday.
After that, we’ll return to our regular schedule and assist you as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards and happy holidays!

Hello
I have one event that I wish to hide from the calendar view but have it be viewable on other pages.
This event has a tag to distinguish it from the other events. So 2 questions : -
Can the calendar shortcode be written to hide events with a specific tag?
if not:
Can the calendar shortcode be written to include more than one tag?
If the above can't be achieved is there another way to hide an event from the calendar view (without hiding it from the site)?
Thanks,
Miriam
Hi Miriam
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I'm afraid since all events in the "events list" have the same HTML structure and classes, we can't add a specific class based on the event tag so we cannot hide events with a particular tag.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
When you add a tag to an event, it serves so that you can filter by tag in Event Calendar view, by clicking Event Type:
Or to separate Events under the same tag in Event List view, with shortcode [ameliaevents tag='name'].
