We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello there,
i hope you are fine. I have 3 ver important questions:
1. Defer JS of Amelia
I have a real page speed problem on some websites. If i deactivate Amelia it goes to normal again. Is it possible to defer the js? I already tried it with WPRocket, but without success. Maybe you have a workaround?
2. Price categories and extras to buy
One of my clients is a real heavy user of Amelia. But they are about to look for another solution unfortunately. The reason are two important points:
a. Amelia offers only one price for one event. They need different categories. For example: adults, children, students. Is something like that possible with Amelia?
b. For appointments it is possible to put extras, so they can buy them with one click and everything appears in the checkout. They need exactly the same functionality for events. Is something like that available as well?
If nothing of question 2 is possible yet. Is something of them planned for the future? I fear that i´m going to lose the client.
Thanks in advance,
Alvaro
Hi, Alvaro,
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
1. Could you please try to enable the "Load Entities on page load" slider in Amelia -> Settings -> Activation, it might help to improve Amelia's performance.
2a. We will implement multiple prices for Events in the next update or the one after (so, approximately in 6-8 weeks). Our developers are already working on this feature.
2b. I'm afraid, we are not planning to add Extras for Events in the nearest future. If you have a couple of minutes, please suggest this feature on our website, so our developers will see that there's a demand for such functionality.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello Liza,
thank you for your response. I enabled "load entities" but the page load is still really bad. Is there no other possibility?
I´m looking forward to the multiple prices functionality.
Best regards,
Alvaro
Alvaro,
I'm sorry to hear that.
Could you please provide us with a temporary WP Admin login, so we will be able to see what we can do about the load speed?
You can post the credentials as a private response to this ticket.
Best Regards.
Hello Liz,
that is super kind of you, but the installation is a bit complex and we fear that it is not working anymore after testing the possibilities. The main problem is, that we have to load Amelia on the first page load. We are thinking about to create a separate site, to let it run only if the link is clicked and the site is loading. We are then able to deactivate all the css and js in the header on sites where Amelia is not running.
Thank you very much for your offer. I really appreciate it very much ;-). You can close the ticket.
Alvaro,
I'm sorry for not being able to help with that issue.
Unfortunately, the more complicated the site "structure" is, the higher chance that the page will slow down is.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, and we will gladly respond to them.
Best Regards.
