Hi there, is it possible to use a hook to launch the wpdatatables modal editor directly via a button? Imagine if I had a user profile screen with the ID of the user being the ID of the row I would like to edit. If I create an edit button to put on the user profile, could I have it directly launch a modal with the wpdatatables editor inside by using an action? Rather than building up a pre-filtered grid for that one user ID, then selecing the row to edit the normal way.
I'm afraid that that particular solution is not currently possible within plugin's functionalities; you can make a table where you will use the option Users Can See And Edit own data, and put that table on the page of a certain user's profile.
In that way, currently logged in user (logged into his own profile) can see and edit only his own data.
For the button you can remove the other buttons New and Delete, so that only Edit button will show for him.
Ok, thank you for the feedback. I was hoping for a way to essentially hide the table, but still be able oy use the modal editor. Have a good one! You can close this.
