Hi,
I have created custom fields to ensure that users need to accept the privacy policy before confirming their booking.
The issue is, that I need to make sure users always have to accept this no matter which appointment or event they book. It is a GDPR requirement to ask users for consent before saving their data. But the field does not automatically appear when I create a new service or event. I have to remember to manually add every new event to the custom field. This is especially bad for events since new events will be added on a regular basis.
I am making this site for a client and I am afraid the risk of user error (forgetting to manually add the custom field every time she creates an event) will be high, and this would mean not being GDPR compliant.
I am not sure if it is a bug or working as intended, but is there any plan to fix it or add a feature that allows you to make sure the field will always be added?
BR Sanna
Hi, Sanna,
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
Yes, I'm afraid, at the moment Custom fields cannot be assigned to the newly created Services automatically, therefore, you have to go to the Amelia -> Customize -> Custom fields page and assign them manually by clicking to the new Services or to the "All Services" option.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards.
