    Hi there,

    I'm looking at purchasing the Amelia plugin for a client project.

    One question we have is can we have multiple calendars that only show specific categories? I saw the shortcode to display a calendar, but want to know if we can show a calendar with a specific category only.


    For example:

    One page, with one calendar that only shows Category 01

    Then another page, with another calendar that shows Category 02.

    Yes, sure, it's a pretty common solution when different Categories are placed on different pages.

    That can be achieved with [ameliacatalog category=1] or [ameliabooking category=1] shortcodes.

    Events currently don't have Categories, but you can assign the same Tag to multiple events and show only them together with this shortcode:

    [ameliaevents tag='name'] if you want to show just the events that belong to the same tag defined during the creation of events, where “name” will be replaced with the tag name

    Thanks for the quick reply. That makes sense, so for the calendar view, does this shortcode work? Just to show events on the calendar from a specific tag: [ameliaevents type=calendar tag='name']

    Just want to be sure before grabbing the plugin.

    exactly - it will show a calendar view but only of the events falling under that specific tagsmile.png
