    Hi,

    I've got Amelia set up on a client website to take deposits, and I've got appointments set to be manually approved. When is the payment for the deposit taken?

    My client wants to approve the appointment and then take the deposit, is this possible?

    The deposit is taken immediately when customer is booking.

    The pending appointment will have the deposit taken, and if you don't want to approve the appointment and cancel it, it would be needed to refund the deposit to the client as well.
