We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I just learned about parameter URL using "?wdt_search=filtervalue"

If I remove the key (?wdt_search=filtervalue), whole data will be displayed on the table. right?

How can I make nothing on the table, even though I remove the key?

    Hi, Hyun,

    Thank you for your purchase.

Could you please clarify your question? What do you exactly mean by "nothing on the table"?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    hi, Liza

    thank you for replying.

"nothing on the table" means no data on the table. if I use the key ("?wdt_search=filtervalue"), only the value will be displayed on the table. And if I remove the key, whole records will be displayed. right?

when I remove the key, I want to see no data on the table. that is what I want.

let me know if you need more explaining.

    thank you.

    Hi, Hyun,

Yes, that is right. Unfortunately, that is not possible with the built-in feature of the plugin.

You can use a predefined filter for some columns and then hide that filter, so the table will be filtered and users can not change it. You can read more in our docs about Advanced filters.

Also, you can use Placeholders as Predefined values for dynamic filtering.

Also, you can check out our Powerful filters add-on which has an option hide table which you can combine with Cascade filtering so users will have results only after choosing the filter params. If they clear the params table will be hidden again.

You can read more about this here and see live examples as well. You can try it on our live sandbox https://sandbox.powerful.wpdatatables.com/

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,
