When they get to the cart page, I'd like to "upsell" them on adding an additional appointment. I just tested this with my website, and when I do this, adding a new appointment simply overwrites the first one.
I'd like to know if it's possible for this to not happen. That way, adding a new service to the cart doesn't overwrite the first one.
I’m afraid it is not possible to book multiple appointments at once with current built-in features in Amelia. But it is on our to-do list for future updates.
However, it can be achieved in two ways.
Option one: is to use Recurring appointments. But it is suitable only if a customer books multiple appointments of the same service (thus, all appointments will have the same duration, price, and will be performed with the same recurrence - daily, weekly, monthly). Recurring Appointments are available in all licenses.
Option two: Packages of Services - it is a feature that allows creating packages of multiple appointments (of the same or different services). In that case, the services that are included in the package and the number of appointments will be fixed, and the price will be set for the whole package. Customers will be able to book included Appointments on any days, with no strict recurrence. You can see more information here. Please note that the Packages feature is only available for Amelia Pro and Developer licenses.
Also, please note that WooCommerce integration works as a payment getaway, and such features as Woo cart or Woo login aren't available in Amelia, therefore it's not possible to add multiple Appointments to a cart.
I'd like to know whether it's possible to book multiple appoints when using WP Amelia and WooCommerce.
This is what I have in mind:
After the user books their appointment, they'll be taken to the cart page (https://thrive-34abbf.ingress-earth.easywp.com/your-appointment/) on my website.
