Hi, here is my scenario, hopefully there is a better way to do this..
An employee works different hours every week so I can't just say they work 9am - 5pm each day. instead, I have just created special days for each of the slots they are available.. this is quite time-consuming. is there not a way i can just add 9-5 and then quickly delete slots they are not available?
Likewise if someone books an appointment by telephone what is the best way to remove that appointment from the calendar in amelia so i dont get double booked?? i charge a deposit for each appt so i can't just go in and book it out, and anyway, that would be too time consuming
Would really appreciate any help
Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve!
Thank you for reaching out to us
You can optionally break down that 9 - 5 shift into multiple hours:
if one appointment lasts 1h, you can make 9 - 10, 10 - 11, etc, for each day (make it for Monday then click Apply to All).
In this way every week you can remove and add hours you need.
If someone books by phone, you can create an appointment from them in Amelia from the Backend or Employee panel.
Hi Ivanai, thanks for your reply,
I want my employee to be able to book 2 or 3 mths in advance not just weekly so that solution doesn't seem like it would work so using special days like I am now is looking like the quickest way, albeit a very time consuming quick way! Ideally we could have a calendar and we could click the hours/days available/not available fast.
Unless there is another way?
Cheers
Steve
Hi Steve,
thank you for the kind reply!
In that case, I'm afraid that Special Days is the only way to make a setup currently, as with my suggestion you'd have to make weekly changes.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
