Hi. I am interested in creating a WooCommerce products table similar to what you have at https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/table-examples/products-table/. I can write the SQL query to fetch my products but I am missing a column for the product price. How do I get this value from the WordPress database?
At the moment, we don't have a native WooCommerce integration, so pulling data from WooCommerce's database can only be achieved using MySQL query-based tables. If you're not that good with MySQL, you can try using our Query Constructor, but please note that this constructor is just a helper - it's not an ultimate query generator.
It constructs a suggestion of a query, that you often need to modify to get the data you need. Included support for the plugin doesn't cover writing custom queries, so we wouldn't be able to help you with that.
We were told over a year ago that you are working on a native Woocommerce integration. We are still waiting for this integration and really need the functionality. When will this be available!!!
Please note that our developers work on new features and improvements based on the number of votes received through our feature suggestion page. It seems that this was not a priority for the majority of our users, so it's been delayed to make way for other, more popular feature requests.
Our developers are working on the integration with WooCommerce, and I hope they'll be able to complete it within the next few weeks, but we can't promise anything.
We have offered to help fund the investment necessary for the development. We are willing to vote with our dollars. Are they? This could also be a paid extension for wpdatatables that you could capitalize on. Not a new feature request.
Thank you for the offer, but the integration development is already on the way. It most likely won't be a paid add-on, but we'll check that with our management.
If our management decides to accept your proposal, we'll get back to you.
