We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    HI,

My client is asking is it possible to set viewing permission to only one location to one Amelia manager?

They have 3 branches in different city and each city has one manager. Each manager should not see appointments calendar of other locations.

    Hi, Howard,

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

I'm afraid, at the moment it's not possible with the current built-in features in Amelia.

You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best Regards.

Is there JavaScript hooks like this for backend usage

    window.afterSelectCatalogCategory(object_category)
    window.beforeCatalogCategoryLoaded(object_category)
    window.beforeCatalogServiceLoaded(object_category, object_service)
    window.afterSearchActivateService(object_appointment, object_serviceActive)
    window.afterSearchGoToSecondStep(object_appointment, object_serviceActive)
    window.afterBookingSelectDateAndTime(object_appointment, object_serviceId, object_providerId, object_locationId)
    window.afterBookingSelectService(object_appointment, object_serviceId, object_providerId, object_locationId)
    window.beforeConfirmBookingLoaded(object_appointment, object_service, object_provider, object_location)
    window.afterConfirmBooking(object_appointment, object_service, object_provider, object_location)

So I could remove some locations in javascript when window is loaded ?

    Howard,

    Unfortunately, it's not that easy.

One of our users wanted to limit Manager's access to Categories, and that's what one of our partners responded to him:

"After gathering all the information we estimate this project would take a minimum of 2 weeks which is 80 hours of our developers' work, including the work of our Quality Assurance Specialist. This project requires modification of the core files of the WP Amelia plugin."

Therefore, I'm afraid, hooks won't help to achieve that.

    Best Regards.
