Hi,
I'm setting up a service for a client and need to use the same email address for multiple employees. The client wants to receive the email notification to their central email address before passing the booking onto their staff. When I try to set up Employees whom have the same email address (ie central email address) I receive the attached error, "This email address already exists"
Is there a way I can configure Amelia so multiple employees have the same email?
Thanks in advance,
Dom
Hi Dominic,
thank you for reaching out to us
I'm afraid that each employee needs to have a separate email address.
You can enter fictional addresses such as [email protected] (that is literally my test employee's address as Amelia recognizes anything with @ and .com as an email for an employee), and then go to Amelia > Settings > Notifications.
Here you can insert your email as Send All To Additional Address. In this way you will receive all booking notifications, and then you can manually reassign employees as needed.
