Hi there, This is an issue I have caused, not an issue with Amelia. WP users can be subscribers which means they are members of my community AND they can also be wpamelia customers when they book a session with me.
I had to restore my site and I lost a user in the process! I then added them back as a WP user and his user type was "subscriber" which meant he was able to access the community. I then recreated the amelia booking he had made and mapped him to the WP user. This changed his wp user role from "subscriber" to "Amelia Customer". My other users are able to have both "subscriber" and "Amelia Customer" user roles at the same time. Is there any way I can give him the amelia customer role without replacing his subscriber user role? (I think not but thought I would ask)
Let's see what can be done, and please don't worry - restoration of site is sometimes absolutely neccessary.
By default a user can only have 1 role at a time, so I am curious as to how they had 2 before. When you activate Automatically Create Amelia Customer Role they are reverted to Amelia Customer. Can you please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
