I'd like to ask if it is possible and how (maybe using some code) to locate the filters to the left of the table (instead of above), one below the other.
This can only be achieved if you place the filters in a sidebar, using the Filtering widget (available for Gutenberg, and in other page editors, like Elementor).
Aleksandar is on vacation so I hope you don't mind me jumping in
As you assumed yourself this cannot be done using the plugin's builtin features and I don't think you will be able to achieve this with just a little custom CSS, I'm afraid.
It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.
But we can recommend these services for customization:

Great, thank you, Aleksandar, found it!
Now, is there any way to hide the "Clear all filters" button on the widget or to change its colors?
It's inheriting the colors from somewhere but they don't look good at all.
I'm using Elementor.
Thanks again
It can't be hidden from plugin's settings, but we could hide it with some custom CSS.
Can you share the page with me, and I'll take a look?

Here's the CSS needed to hide the button:
And to change the color:
