Hey everyone!
With the holiday season upon us, we want to share our upcoming working hours:
- New Year: Our team will be off on January 1st and 2nd. We’ll be back on Friday, January 3rd, to respond to any messages received during this time.
- Weekend: As usual, we don’t work on weekends, so January 4th and 5th will also be non-working days.
- Orthodox Christmas: Our office will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, January 6th and 7th for the holiday.
After that, we’ll return to our regular schedule and assist you as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards and happy holidays!

Hello,
I have bene playing with the non-pro version of wpDataTables and so far like what I see. I have a specific need I am trying to solve and many of the features needed to do that appear to be in the paid version. I am wondering if there is a demo I can try to confirm what I want to do will work?
If no demo, can you confirm that I would be able to import a table from an excel file to build that initial table and then edit that table within the wpDataTables plugin after the import?
I also need to sum the data in my columns but I would prefer the cell holding the value not be a numerical value, I would prefer to have something more decorative for better visual appeal. Can I sum column data and row data based on the presence of an object in any given cell?
Kind regards,
-Scott
Hi Scott
Thank you for reaching out to us.

If no demo, can you confirm that I would be able to import a table from an excel file to build that initial table and then edit that table within the wpDataTables plugin after the import? - Yes you can import and edit the tables inside the plugin.
I also need to sum the data in my columns but I would prefer the cell holding the value not be a numerical value, I would prefer to have something more decorative for better visual appeal. Can I sum column data and row data based on the presence of an object in any given cell? - Unfortunately this is not possible. Only numeric columns can be used.
