Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi everyone,

I currently have the Basic version so unfortunately I can't test it.

I am building a website for a personal trainer. You can either book single training lessons (possible with the Basic version of Amelia) or packages of 10 lessons (=Pro, correct?), each for multiple trainees.

When I create a package, I have to assign services.

1.) Are these services (assigned to a package) still available to be booked as a single lessons? If so - is there a way to hide them - so that I have spots only for single lessons and spots only for packages?

2.) I connected Amelia with GoogleCalender. The documentation says that I can skip the booking part by setting the Min and Max value for booking requirements. If I set that up - do I still get the participants in my appointment in the GoogleCalender?

    Best regards

    Hi Adriaan,

thank you for reaching out to ussmile.png

Yes, exactly Packages are available in Pro and Developer licences.

1.) Are these services (assigned to a package) still available to be booked as a single lessons? If so - is there a way to hide them - so that I have spots only for single lessons and spots only for packages?  Sure, they will be available as both single and package; you can even separate them with different shortcodes (but in the one with singles package will be advertised as an option).

2.) I connected Amelia with GoogleCalender. The documentation says that I can skip the booking part by setting the Min and Max value for booking requirements. If I set that up - do I still get the participants in my appointment in the GoogleCalender? Sure, you can request your clients to book 1 appointment immediately, or request no bookings so that they can book later; you will still get the information in the calendar when they book one of the package appointments.

    Hi Ivana,

    thank you for your reply.

1.) Do I understand it correct: e.g. I have a service which is called "1 h fitness training" - setup as a service. I want to sell this in a package (e.g. a 10h course). Nevertheless sometimes I also want to offer just single 1h trainings (the same service).

Can I hide these services assigned to a package but show the single training sessions and the other way around: Can I only show packages in one calender and hide single lessons?

2.) Lets say I have the 10 x 1 hour fitness course assigned to exactly 10 dates (not e.g. 10 out of 12). Wen I skip booking (because obviously it makes no sense for a customer to book 10 appointments out of a 10x 1h class since all appointments are already fixed) are these customers automatically assigned to the appointments in my calender or do they still have to "book" every single appointment?

Sorry for bothering you but the client as pretty specific thoughts :)

    Hi Adriaan,

thank you for the kind replysmile.png

    1. Customers can choose single or package; you can separate the packages in another view like catalog to show only the packages. And then you can show single bookings in another window with a normal shortcode for that service [ameliabooking service=ID] The thing is, in that single service window package will still show as an offer, so if a customer wants to book a single they can ignore the offer, but we can also try to hide that offer with custom CSS.

    2. Customer still needs to book every appointment in the package (as not all services have fixed dates and times for some clients so we had to leave them with a free choice).

You are absolutely not bothering Adriaan, it's a pleasure speaking to you; please feel free to ask any and as many questionssmile.png
