    Hello,

I want to offer customers/visitors the possibility to book/reserve a more or less flexible timeframe within a day. The site is a bathhouse with e. g. 100 places. Example bookings:
    customer 1 (10 persons) 10:00 - 13:00
    customer 2 (5 persons) 10:30 - 12:30
    customer 3 (3 persons) 11:00 - 15:00
Bookable time frames could be e. g. 30 minutes. Now I would expect the follwing:
     9:00 - 10:00 100 open
    10:00 - 10:30 90 open (10 persons booked)
    10:30 - 11:00 85 open (10 + 5 persons booked)
    11:00 - 12:30 82 open (10 + 5 + 3 persons booked)
    12:30 - 13:00 87 open (10 + 3 Persons booked)
    13:00 - 15:00 97 open (3 Persons booked)
    15:00 - 21:00 100 open
I just tried a little around with appointments and one/two employees, but found no corresponding solution. (How) can I achieve this with Amelia?

    Sincerely,

    Jochen S.

    Hi, Jochen,

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

I'm afraid, at the moment it's not possible to set dynamic capacity in Amelia and to make it work the way the next Appointment Capacity depends on how many people booked the previous time slot (11:00 - 12:30  82 open when 10 + 5 + 3 persons booked earlier).

A possible solution would be to create multiple Services with different duration (1h, 2h, 3h, etc.) and divide attendees between them the way at the same time it will be only 100 people maximum in total.

Also, you can create an Event with a Capacity of 100 attendees and Duration from 10.00 to 21.00, and let your Customers book it when the Event already starts. However, this way it won't be possible to differentiate the entrance time since it will be only one Event for the entire day.

That's the only workarounds I can suggest.

You can also leave a "feature request" here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.

    Best Regards.
