    I'm setting up a new employee. Under "Edit Employee" --> "Add Services" there are three tabs across the top. A description of the service - Price - Spots

    What is "Spots" used for?  The only input is a number, if the number is different from "1" what changes?

    Thank you for reaching out to us. 

    Spots represent the minimum and maximum capacity for that service, which can be adjusted per employee, the same as price.

    Does that maximum apply to multiple people booking with multiple people per booking or is that the max per person per appointment/service or?

    Hi, Joe,

    It's being applied for both cases.

    1. If you want to allow one Customer to book multiple slots, you should enable the Show "Bringing anyone with you" option.

    2. If you want to allow multiple Customers to book group Appointments (thus, Customer A will book for 2 people, Customer B will book for 3 ppl, etc), then you should also enable the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option in Amelia -> Settings -> Appointments. Without that, if you enable the Show "Bringing anyone with you" option, then each time slot will be available only for one booking.

    If you don't enable any of these options, then each Customer will be able to book only for him/herself, and each slot will be available for booking by multiple Customers.
