    Hi,

I'm getting trouble to load the date and time of an appointement or to see details of an appointement

It was good at the beginning but it became REAAAALLLYYY long about 10 days ago. It's not a trouble with my website because it's only slowing down when I want to set the time of the appointement ( 18 seconds !) or for the details of the appointement

I have  done all the update, uninstall useless plugins ... it's only when it comes to set the date ...

    Can you help me please?

    Hi Newman

Thank you for reaching out to us.

This issue can be related to the outdated Guzzle version that was used in Amelia. Our developers are aware of this issue, and they will add a fix to the next update.

There are two possible solutions for the issue:

    1. Please go to Amelia -> Settings -> Activation and activate the slider Load Entities on page load, clear site and browser cache and check if the issue is resolved.

    2. If that doesn't help, please reinstall Amelia with the attached file (it contains a fix) by following the steps below:

Please check if the option Delete plugin tables is disabled in Amelia -> Settings -> Activation. And then follow the steps below:

    1) Download the zip folder

    2) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins

    3) Delete existing ameliabooking folder

    4) Upload previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)

    5) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section

    6) Deactivate Amelia Plugin, and then activate it again

    7) Clear site and browser cache - very important

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Newman

Can you please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Hi Newman,

thank you so much for the credentialssmile.png

Blazenka is out of the office today so I hope that you don't mind me replying.

When I went to your Employees tab an error message related to the Google Calendar showed; this could be the reason why the calendar takes a lot of time to retrieve information.

Please make sure to fill out these fields accordingly:

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I saw the google error - at the begining i wanted to synch amelia with google but the calendar wasn't good for me... so i deleted all the fields and the  google error  started here... I don't want to synch it with google , but only with outlook... :(

I don't know if you've touched something , but I don't have the google error anymore ( but still have trouble loading... )

    Hi Newman

Broken connection to google calendar can also cause loading issues so we wanted to rule everything out.

Let me forward this to our Level 2 to investigate further and we will get back to you with more information.

Thank you for your time and patience.

    Hello Newman

The issue is definitely related to Outlook Integration.

The plugin is looking for 999 busy events in Outlook, and it takes a lot of time to fetch them all, since it's looking through the number of days you set in "Period available for booking in advance" in Amelia's General Settings (currently set to 365).

When Outlook integration is turned off, the time slots load in around 700ms. If you were to reduce the number of events returned from 999 to a lower value, it would load faster, but it would also miss some busy events if you have a lot of them in your Outlook Calendar, so I don't know if this would work for you.

Our developers are exploring options for fixing this and hopefully, they'll be able to resolve this limitation soon.

    I apologize for the inconvenience.

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković
