We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

is there a way to only send a single confirmation email when a customer books a repeating appointment?

they’re currently getting a dozen individual emails. It’s terribly unprofessional.

what can I do to send just a single one for the initial booking, and include the dates for each appointment in that one email?

    Hi Willard,

thank you for reaching out to ussmile.png

Sure, just make sure to insert the placeholder %recurring_appointments_details% into the email template, and it will list all the recurring appointments.

Does that keep the system from sending out an email for each appointment at the time of booking?

    Hi Willard,

thank you for the kind replysmile.png

If you are referring to the scheduled reminders that are sent 24 hours before the appointment, then no, I'm afraid.

This notification needs to be disabled fully.

for some reason the emails aren't resolving the code:
I deleted the DateTime at the beginning of the placeholder, and added in the price. For some reason, there's no placeholder that allows me to show the total owed…

now, in the body of the emails, it shows this:

    %recurring_appointments_details% @$45

    %recurring_appointments_details% @$45

    %recurring_appointments_details% @$45

    %recurring_appointments_details% @$45

    %recurring_appointments_details% @$45

How do I revert this email to its original version?

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Willard,

    thank you for contacting backsmile.png

The recurring placeholder will show recurring information for each separate recurring appointment, but not the total.

You can erase the placeholder for recurring fully from this template to revert it to the beginning.

I think you might have overlooked the problem:

%recurring_appointments_details% shows up in the actual emails if I edit anything in the placeholder configuration window.

    making the configuration useless.

    Hi Willard,

as I could not replicate the same issue on my site, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
