when you add a tag to an event, it serves so that you can filter by tag in Event Calendar view, by clicking Event Type:
Or to separate Events under the same tag in Event List view, with shortcode [ameliaevents tag='name'].
There is no concise list of all tags and related events, I'm afraid. You do have a list of all event tags in the database, so you can see them there (and delete some if needed).
You can also see the tag of the event in the list view when you open that event:
I dont have that view. See attached for the calendar view in admin, there is no tags showing anywhere. You have to click to edit every event to see the tag assigned. (I have blocked out names and faces for privacy)
Admin can see the tag in the backend when he goes to Amelia > Events > Edit Event, or on the Amelia > Calendar, when you click on that event, to Edit it:
You can hide the tags from the frontend by using custom CSS; I can make this for you if you wish
Thanks, yes I know that. But if you have many many events this is not feasible. If Admin need to find all events tagged "Needs This Thing Done" how can they easily see them all?
I am OK to do the CSS thanks, I just need a way for admins to see the tags in admin.
The database list doesn't have it either; list of events + tags would be very good.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
I have added some tags to events, but they dont show anywhere??
In the Events page its not listed in the rows of events.
In the Calendar its not listed.
So where can I view the tags? I would need to see them in the Events list and calendar so I can see what tags we have given.
Thanks

Hi Laurence,
I was referring to the shortcode for Event Calendar View on the frontend; they are not visible in the backend in Amelia > Calendar I'm afraid.
How is an admin able to see what tags are on what events if you haven't added them to the backend?
Also, we will use tags for internal reference, so we dont want them on the front end.
