We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
We are developing a website with Amelia, where we'd like to host both live AND zoom events. I read about how to put the Zoom join urls in the customer notifications, that appears to work fine. But how can I send event notifications with a regular location to non-zoom event customers??
Hi Els,
thank you for reaching out to us
Zoom link will be sent in the notification for services where Zoom is enabled.
So if you have a service that you perform both online and live, you can duplicate it, make one live one Zoom, and assign the same employee to both.
In this way you won't have overlapping appointments, just some will be online some live
And Amelia will send the notification accordingly.
Hi Ivana,
thanks for getting back to me. I know about duplicating, but I can only configure 1 set of event notifications. So If I use Zoom and Live, I would have to mention both the location tags and the zoom-join-url tag in the event notifications? That would look silly for the customers?
Hi Els,
my apologies! I was referring to Services, instead of Events.
You can duplicate the Event and make one to be Zoom (by choosing the Zoom User in Event Creation tab) and one without it, just with location.
The Events will have different IDs so if someone chooses the Zoom one they will get the link, if they choose location one they will not get the link just location that will be live.
Hi Ivana,
Could you maybe give me an example of how you would set up the customer event booked notification? I can only set up 1 type of event booked notification, right? So it would have to contain both location details as well as the zoom URL?
I added an example, maybe this explains what I mean better. This is what I would rather not do, because is sounds clumsy.
Hi, Els,
I'm afraid, at the moment it's not possible to separate Notifications for online and offline Events, therefore one template has to contain information for both cases.
However, we will add a new custom notifications feature to the next update or the one after, and it will resolve this issue. I can't tell you when we will implement this feature precisely, but hopefully, it will happen in 6-8 weeks.
Best Regards.
aha, that answers my question yes. I'll be looking foward to the update then.
Els,
Yes, our developers are already working on it, so Custom notifications are on their way.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
Best Regards.
