We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I have a pre-sale question about wpdata tables. I have checked the demo (thanks for making this available) and I couldn't find the answer.
On the front end, when a user is editing a line of a table, a popup appears with a form allowing him to change the line's data. This form is sometimes a little too simple. How to do if I need to extend the table titles and/or add some other description? For example if in the table I have a data "Time", but in the popup form I want to have instead "Select the time of this event" and just down I need a long description like "Please refer to the document we have send....Thank you", is it possible? Does this require custom code? Is it easy to set up (by filter, action,....)?
I have tried to use Gravity form to get this function. I have created a HTML block in a form between 2 fields and also added a description to a field but when editing the table line on the front end, the popup (which becomes the Gravity form) doesn't include this HTML block nor the field's description. So same question as above, is it possible to do this? How to do? Does this require custom code? Is it easy to set up (by filter, action,....)?
Between these above 2 ways I'd rather prefer not use Gravity form.
This function is absolutely necessary for me, so I need to know how to create this with your plugin before buying it.
Thank you!
Hi elv
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately this cannot be achieved with the plugin's builtin features.
It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.
But we can recommend these services for customization:
https://codeable.io/?ref=l1TW1
https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins
They do develop such solutions, so can you please send your inquiry to them?
Ok, Thank you I will contact them.
Regards.
You are most welcome
If there is anything else we can assist you with please don't hesitate to open a new ticket.
Have a wonderful day!
