We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Its possible integrate Google Meet whit Events and send mail automate? Thanks for your response.
Hi Steven
Yes it is; just make sure to complete the Google Calendar integration, and activate the option Enable Google Meet in Amelia > Settings > Integrations > Google.
Ok, thank you. Although when doing the tests it doesn't work. I create an event and when I register with a test email, I do not receive any message, neither from Amelia, nor the google meet link. Attached screenshots
Hi Steven
If you enable the option ‘Send Event Invitation Email ‘ in Amelia your customers will automatically get an invitation from Google Calendar to add the appointment to their calendars.
Inside the Event, on Google Calendar the blue Google Meet button will be shown so both employee and customer can join the meet.
So please go through the configuration once again and make sure both Google Calendar and Google Meet are set up correctly and try to test it again with an email address that has not been previously used in the system and let us know if the issue persists.
Also please make sure Amelia is updated to 4.0.1.
Hi there! I did new tests and the events that I attach in the image still do not work. Those created through calendars work fine, but these "individual" events don't work sending Google Meet invitation.
Thanks for your reply and help.
Hi Steven,
please tell me which event I can test this on and I will check.
Also, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Hi Steven,
thank you for the credentials!
You've been using PHP mail for this, and we usually don't recommend it because it's very unreliable; I tested it with my SMTP settings and it works.
Can you please pick out a WP setting or SMTP instead? Thank you!
I think Amelia support team got confused here.
Steven clearly asked if Google Meet (which is part of Google Calendar integration) can work with Events in Amelia. Not Services, but namely Events. Steven even provided screenshots from the Events section and not Services section.
It clearly says that in Events Help Article that "Synchronization with Google Calendar is not supported in the Event booking at the moment." This is very unfortunate for sure, but this whole thread confused even more, so I just wanted to clarify it.
Please correct me if I am wrong. Because I have Google Meet enabled and it sends Notifications with Google Meet links and adds to Google Calendar automatically when I use Services. But this does not work for Events Booking. It just sends a plain placeholder in the form of %google_meet_url% and not the actual Google Meet link (check my screenshot).
I'd love to have Events Booking of Amelia to generate Google Meet links and add to Google Calendar.
Thank you.
Thanks Artur. Your comment is correct 👍🏼
Where and how can I add the Google meet link for events, its possible?
Hi Steven,
thank you for contacting back
Arthur thank you for the kind input!
As Google Meet is connected to Google Calendar integration, it can only be used for Appointments from Services at the moment, I'm afraid. For the inclusion of Events into Google integrations, I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
