    Hi,

my client is a tour guide who offers about 10 different city tours. She is working alone (hence only one employee) and all the tours start in different locations.

The 10 tours have been created as services with various durations.

Within the working hours customers can select any tour they like.

My client would like to create the different locations (which serve as meeting points) in the back-end of Amelia but she cannot connect herself to all of these locations as an employee can only connect to one singe location.

Is there a way around it? Is it not possible for an employee to work in different locations?

Or is there another way to add a location to a service? We tried to enter the meeting point address in the service description field but this does not look right on the front end of Amelia. The headline "description" followed by an address is confusing for the customer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Bernhard

    Hi Bernhard,

thank you for reaching out to ussmile.png

Exactly; employee can have a working schedule on one location at a time only, as Amelia cannot allow one person to "be" at two places at the same time (as she considers employee having their full shift on one location as if they will be there the whole time).

She could optionally create Categories instead and rename them with LocoTranslate or POEDIT to Locations, so that system would allow more of them at once.

I have the same issue with my client as doctors (employee) in 2 clinic and they present in both clinic in different days or same day with different time. If i copy the employee and assigned each employee to different location, is it possible ?

    Regards,

    Fajar

    Hello Ivana,

thank your for your response. My client will look into the possibility of the categories->location translation trick. Thanks for the hint.

    Best
