We bought amelia plugin some months ago and we are trying to set the plugin to our needs. We are a space where people can book different scheduled activities at 3 different rooms. We have some problems or limitations, you may help us…
We have 1 massage’s room and amelia fits perfectly on that, it´s great! But we have some limitations on the other rooms.
The way we work is with a “services schedule”. For example, at the same room we offer yoga at 11, pilates at 12, dancing at 13 or gym at 14. We want the client to easily see the schedule and book the activity he wants, or to buy a “pack” and later see the different activities and book them at the client panel, and they may be different each time.
So here are our questions:
How can we do a “services calendar” so the client can see the services available one day, or one week and book directly from the calendar? He may search for a yoga lesson and find it only on Monday at 12 but we prefer if he can see a calendar (daily, or weekly) with 8 or 9 different services each day and select the one he wants (the time variable can be more important than the service for him).
We want to set a package with different services included but the client can use it at any of our services offered at the schedule. I mean, he buys the package named “healthy package” including 5 sessions, and later he books from the client panel if he wants a yoga session Monday at 12 or a Pilates session on Monday at 4 pm… Once he books 5 different services the package ends… He may use the 5 sessions at the same service and ignore the other services included, or 2 times yoga and 3 times gym or whatever he wants. Is that possible?
Using the service packages, we found that the client can book at his client panel the services included, but if we want to make the booking at the admin’s backend, it´s no easy to manage the client’s package (if he has 1 session left and we book it at the backend, he still has 1 session left…)
Probably, our feature Events Calendar view will match your requirements (but, as you can get by its name, it will work for you only if you use events and not Services). You can see more details here.
Otherwise, the closes option for Appointments is the Search view.
Hope that will help.
As for the packages, you need to include what services are included when creating it, you will not be able to create a "blank" package. You can log into the client's portal and make the booking on his behalf.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
