Hey everyone!
With the holiday season upon us, we want to share our upcoming working hours:
- New Year: Our team will be off on January 1st and 2nd. We’ll be back on Friday, January 3rd, to respond to any messages received during this time.
- Weekend: As usual, we don’t work on weekends, so January 4th and 5th will also be non-working days.
- Orthodox Christmas: Our office will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, January 6th and 7th for the holiday.
After that, we’ll return to our regular schedule and assist you as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards and happy holidays!

Hello,
i am trying your plugin in localhost using JSON import
but it keeps saying "Table in data source has no rows."
even i m using your site sample
http://wpdatatables.com/sample_files/employees.json
also i would like to know if that source JSON is modified, will the output table refresh to latest updated data?
thanks
Hi Shawn
Thank you for reaching out to us.
This error usually appears when the file structure is not correct. Please have a look at our documentation on how to create a table from serialized php array. We tried to recreate the issue in our local using the example from our documentation but everything works as expected. Could you please send us a screenshot or a screen recording of the issue so we can get a better understanding and what steps we need to take to recreate the issue.
Tables linked to an existing source will be updated when the source file is updated but please note that any changes to the file structure (renaming, reordering, removing or adding columns) is not recommended as the table my brake.
Thanks Blaženka
the attached are the steps i did,
screen1 is first i selected "linked data"
screen2 is then i choose "JSON" and then paste the link
http://wpdatatables.com/sample_files/employees.json
then press "save changes"
thanks
Hi Shawn
Thank you. I can see you are using the wpDataTables Lite, could you please tell me if you have updated it to the latest version?
If yes please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
