Booking spaces not services

    Good Morning,

    I have a client with an athletic center.  They want the ability to rent out the basketball court at $100 an hour, that can be booked for multiple consecutive hours at a time.  They also want to rent the same space for parties in two hour increments.  In addition, they have a fitness center they want to rent separately, as well as being able to add it as an option at a discount when a client books the basketball court.

    To summize, adding a service where multiple consecutive hours can be selected upon calendar view. Adding another service as an addendum to another selected service, and have that option being reserved if a client wants to try and reserve it individually.

    I don't see a straight forward way to accomplish this.  Any support would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

    Hi Christopher,

    thank you for reaching out to ussmile.png

    Our plugin currently support time slot booking during one day, so if it is just renting of co-working space for a couple of hours a day, then it is possible to use our plugin for this. If, however you need multi-days booking then you should check out our new feature Events.

    You can either create rooms where services are and create employee for each room (different one, so they can be bookable at the same time) and hide the employee selection with a simple CSS (we will explain later on ) or you can create each room as separate employee and create just one service to attach to each room. Just so you know each employee needs to have email, so if you don't need a separate email for each you can create with Gmail or outlook the same email with +number, and they will be seen as a different one (a would later explain you this in more details, but you should know that you need to use Gmail or Outlook).

    If your employee email address is [email protected] you can make more employees with same email adding numbers like [email protected],[email protected]... )

    And then you can use ameliabooking shortcode and on front-end you can hide with CSS  dropdawn with Employees.

    You can use this CSS rule on the page between style tags where you will hide Employee dropdawn:

    <style>
    .am-select-employee-option {    display: none;
    }
    </style>

    If you create just one employee and rooms as services, that means that rooms will not be bookable at the same time, since there is just one employee that is working (one employee/rooms one working hours - multiple employees/rooms multiple working hours). That is the reason why I offer you two other workarounds: rooms as services but with several employees hidden from the front-end, or rooms as employees with one service.

    Hi Ivana,

    Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

    I need a little more help with original request.  I'm going to try and be as specific as possible.

    1.  There is a room that is rentable by the hour which your software does just fine; however, I want the client to be able to rent the room for more than an hour at a time.  So when client books room there is the option to select just one hour or multiple hours.  Right now it looks like client can only put one hour at a time in the shopping cart.

    2.  There is a fitness room that can be booked by itself for a fixed price. I would like to be able to have that room be attached as an option when selecting another room at a reduced rate.  For example, the gym rents for $100 an hour.  The fitness room for $50 an hour.  However, the fitness room can rented along with the gym at the same time for $35 an hour.  Is this possible?

    Your support would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    I tried adding the fitness room and the ability to add more hours to the booking of the basketball court as an "extra"; however, when client views booking page, the "extras" show up first before the calendar which is confusing to say the least.

    Hi Christopher,

    thank you for the kind reply; I apologize for the later response as we don't work on weekends.

    1. I'm afraid that only one appointment can be booked at a time, then client needs to go back and book another time. There is a feature Packages, which allows you to offer multiple bookings at once; but this is not fixed for multiple appointments during one day. Client who buys the Package, can book 10am today, 11am today, 6pm tomorrow, etc (any time and day they want).

    2. This can also be achieved with Packages, by offering these 2 services in a bundle with a discounted price.

    Good Morning Ivana,

    I requested a refund last week as your plugin does not fulfill what I am needing to achieve.  It has yet to show up on my credit card, nor have I received an email confirmation that I've submitted a request for refund.  I have requested this refund within 15 days of purchase.  Please confirm that my request has been received and I will be receiving funds.  Thank you

    Hi christopher

    It usually takes from 5-7 business days to process the refund (please give it a day or two more). There will be no confirmation email, you will only see the Request Refund button grayed out, if it is grayed out we have received your request and it is under processing. Rest assured all refund requests are being processed and we have never experienced a significant delay in issuing a refund.

    However, please let us know if it has been more than 10 days since your request was submitted.

    How long does it take to refund a client that wasn't satisfied with your product?

    Just curious,

    If you are still experiencing any issues with Amelia, please let me know - I'd be happy to help you use the plugin in it's full capacity.

    Hello Ivana or whomever,

    Please follow the thread.  I requested a refund two weeks ago and followed your procedure. It still has not been refunded.  Your plugin does not work for my purposes. I requested refund prior to the 15 day money back guarantee.  Your business practices are becoming suspect.  Please honor your pledge.
