We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Our employees take turns on shifts. The shifts have set times, but employees can change from day to day.
Is there a way to allow people to book an appointment without specifying an employee? Then whichever employee is working the shift for the booked appointment will handle the appointment.
I have used this option , I think you add an option of “Any” so when they book they choose any from the drop down menu of employees
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I will check this out. Just to be clear, we want to allow customers to book appointments for specific times, even if an employee isn't assigned to the specific appointment time. If an employee isn't already assigned at the time of booking, the employee would be assigned at a later time.
Just create one "dummy" employee profile, and assign the actual employees manually. Or give the "dummy" employee's email access to everyone, so everyone receives the booking notifications.
Hope this can help.
Hi, TAFF,
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
Julio is absolutely right: since there's no such an option in Amelia at the moment, it can be achieved only with a workaround. So, you can create a "dummy employee" and give your other Employees access to this Employee's email address. Also, you can add permissions to see/manage other Employees' appointments to all the Employees, so they will be able to choose appointments and reassign them. It can be done with the User Role Editor plugin.
Best Regards.
