My client must allow registrations for class sessions, for example every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. from Sept. 25 to Dec. 12. There is a fixed price for the whole session. So no need for the client to select dates / times from a calendar, can I do that with Amelia and if so how? Select the service I want, register and pay, no need to select date / time in a calendar.

    Hi, Martin,

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

At the moment, it's not possible to skip such booking steps as day and time selection if you use Services in Amelia. This is the plugin's logic. However, probably it will work the way you require if you create Events? If you add all the dates under one Event, then they will be booked and paid at once. Also, you can place only one Event on the page, so your Customers won't have to choose it from a list.

Also, you can suggest skipping these steps for Services as a "feature request" here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.

    Best Regards.

    Hi Martin

Could you please try one more thing, please go to Amelia > Settings > Activation and activate the slider Load Entities on page load and let us know if you still have the same issue?

Unfortunately the only way to show the same ID for the event would be to manually add additional dates as you noticed yourself, but if you would like to manage what events are displayed, you can add tags to them and choose to display only events with a specific tag.

    Hi,

will i run into a problem if i use multiple short code to show events on the same page, like this example : https://dev.tennestrie.com/juniors-intermediaires/

Some pages will have 10-15-20 short codes.

Could this become a problem ?

I don't have a choice since i can not show events from a category like its possible to do with services.

Maybe you have a workaround for this that i don't know ? :)

Is it possible to send notifications to a particular event (people who subscribe to a specific event) ?

    Thanks

    Martin

    Hi, Martin,

It depends on your server capacity and WP configuration. We can't tell you in advance if it will work flawlessly, but there's a high chance that adding 20 shortcodes on the same page will slow the page down.

Maybe you can add tags to these events and use a shortcode with a tag instead of multiple shortcodes? For example, [ameliaevents tag='name'] if you want to show just the Events that belong to the same tag defined during the creation of Events, where “name” will be replaced with the tag name.

    Best Regards.
