It wI have been following all the installation instructions and have yet to have seen the plugin work on my website Arndisk.com
All that loads in the shortcode.
I have created employees, services, categories, reinstalled the plugin and just trouble shooted it as much as possible and I'm still not able to get anywhere with the plugin.
It works well on my other website, so I don't know what is happening.
Amelia doesn't seem to be activated on this website, that may be the reason why you only see the shortcode. Can you please update the plugin to v4.0.1, which was released yesterday, activate it, clear cache and test again?
If it still doesn't work, please provide us with a temporary wp-admin user (administrator), so we can remote in and take a look?

thank you for the credentials! I apologize for the later response as we don't work on weekends.
Have you placed Amelia into the popup as that is the only Book Now that I have on your page? Please check if the creation process is complete.
It needs to have the ID of the button that is calling the popup, so this is how one of the shortcodes should look like in the Elementor pop-up:
[ameliabooking trigger=amelia-button-id]
so if the button ID is 1 it will be:
[ameliabooking trigger=1]
So, you create a PopUp and set this shortcode in the popup, you will see the option Load booking form manually when you create Amelia shortcode, where you need to provide the button's ID, please look at the attachment.
When you create a button, on which the PopUp will be called, you set its Button ID (that you will provide in the shortcode above afterwards):
You need to enable the "Prevent Closing on Overlay" option in the popup settings:
I have gone through everything to try and set up the Amelia on the website and I was thinking, could the issue be that it is on a .is website instead of a .com
That is all I can really think about right now as this is the only time the plugin hasn't worked for me
Thank you
Ah my bad, it's a .com actually. I was thinking about another website :)
I figured out that Amelia doesn't work with Elementor. When I deactivate Elementor the plugin works. Which is kind of strange because it works on other websites with elementor. So why this installation doesn't?
The plugin also loads fine in the back-end, so can you please tell me in more detail what exactly fails here? Should I publish the page? Elementor pages don't fail to load, regardless if Amelia is on or not.
Richard, I'll take a look at your ticket now, and I'll post the solution here for Konrad, if I find out what's going on.
I have used the shortcode widget as well on my website.
I have the widgets working as well, but it's not using the actual plugin itself but by using shortcode widgets instead.
I mean if that is how I can get it working that that is fine, It's just on my other wordpress websites I can just drag and drop the actual plugin widgets into the spots I require without having to copy and paste shortcodes.
It's supposed to work both with the shortcode and with the Elementor widgets - that's why they're there. I just focused on the shortcode, since you said it doesn't work with it either.
However, I just modified the draft page and added the Amelia Booking View widget, and it still works:
Dragged it, and dropped it, just like you said. If you still have issues with it, please record a video, so I can see what you're doing.

No issue with that.
There a multiple forms on the front page. 1 without any button requirement,
I have also followed the information you have shared previously and still nothing has worked.

Konrad
Hello
I have done what you requested and it still is not loading.
thank you
Konrad
Hi Konrad,
thank you so much; I apologize that did not work.
I will escalate this to a senior agent, so that he can give a more experienced input on the issue; he will contact you back as soon as possible.
I never received any information about this?
What is the issue and can it be fixed?
Thank you

I wrote the shortcode myself. The amelia options dont work.
Is there a possible fix that will help with the issue?
Thank you
Excuse me adding to your ticket Konrad, but I'm having the same issue with Elementor and Amelia not working together.
For Amelia support, please see private ticket #2914557 for full staging site and instructions on how to replicate the problem.
Hello Konrad
I can't replicate the issue on your site.
I created a draft page https://arndisk.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=338&action=elementor and added Amelia with the Shortcode widget:
It comes up fine on the front-end:
