Hello, since the update to version 4.0, I can't create clients directly from my interface, or modify appointments. Either I have the Amelia logo running or I can't access the tabs.
Moreover, I don't receive any notification emails. Can you help me, it's quite urgent? Thanks
As mentioned in the ticket you commented on, please make sure that you deactivated and activated the plugin after the update, and also that you cleared the cache.
If that doesn't help please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
A couple of bugs have been identified, but we can't guarantee that the fix (which we will release later today, most likely) will help you, so it'd be best to investigate.
Our developers discovered this issue after the update was released so we are releasing 4.0.1. today with a fix so please update the plugin to this version once it is released and the issue will be resolved.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
Do let us know if you have the same issues after the update.
However, no emails are sent to the customer and employee when a reservation is made. This is the second time this has happened to me, I seem to have configured wp control correctly. Can you help me?
The error I see on the page when I try to send a test notification is this:
message: "SMTP Error: Could not authenticate."
So, it's not related to the update, but the credentials (or permissions) on your mailing account. Cron is used only for scheduled notifications (reminder, follow-up, and birthday greetings), and it's not related to other notifications.
When I use my Gmail credentials, the emails work fine:
Check your email credentials, and check your Google account if "Allow less secure apps" is enabled in it. If it is, try changing your password, and use TLS secure, with port 587.
thank you for your support. In fact "Allow less secure apps" was deactivated so… i don't know why cos i think i activate it. I have just another question. I'm french and i was thinking that the translate was automatic in the notifications but not. Can you tell me if I have to translate manually or no ?
I'm glad to hear the issue has been resolved, Frédéric
As for the translation of the notifications, you need to manually translate them. We don't have translators in our company, and since paid translators charge by the word, we haven't engaged them to translate dynamic strings.
Those are just templates, almost no one uses them, so it's expected for you to modify them anyway.
