We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I am wondering if I can use webhooks to control adding an appointment in Amelia. Here is an example.

I sell a product in Woocommerce, and then need to setup a ZAP to set an appointment for product assembly, and make that time unavailable for other Amelia appointments. It would need to be the closest half hour block available. Is this possible?

Alternatively, I suppose I could setup the ZAP after woocommerce purchase to add an event to Google calendar. Is there a way to sync back from Google Calender to block times as unavailble in Amelia?

    Thank you.

    Hi Traci,

thank you for reaching out to ussmile.png

I'm afraid that this is not possible at the moment, WebHooks can only be used to send information from Amelia, not to Amelia.

All bookings must be made inside Amelia, and for blocking the times you can use our integration with Google Calendar - if you have a way to connect WooCommerce or ZAP to your Google Calendar, then Google would be able to block that time in Amelia so that it cannot be booked.

Thank you for getting back to me.

I didn't realize blocking time on Google calendar would successfully prevent appointments, but I just tested it, and it works. Thank you. This should work.

    Hi Traci,

yes, whatever you insert into GC it will block that time and date in Ameliasmile.png

I'm glad you like the solution; if you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to open a new ticket, and we'll gladly help.
