I am having 2 issues with a client's website using Amelia, both regarding the customer panel.
The website itself : The customer panel is on a restricted page that only logged-in users can access. So far so good, the users can log in via the wordpress login page (a custom one, I am using WP Users manager extension for this) and then they are redirected to the page where the customer panel shortcode is placed.
First issue : the login
The issue is that the customer panel "sometimes" (quite often actually) do not recognize that the user is already logged-in. And therefore ask for credentials. I don't really know what is the reason of this, as this only happens sometimes, and every time in private navigation. In practice the user has to log-in twice to access his appointments which is not ideal.
Second issue : password changes
When trying to modify the password via the customer panel, the thing is that the password is not changed in the wordpress accounts system. It seems that the password is only changed for the customer panel access.
I don't mind this but if I could just prevent password changes in the customer panel that would be a quick fix !

It depends on whether or not the customer cleared the cache; if they did, login is forgotten, and they have to login again. There is no history or data memory on Private navigation, so it's normal that their login data is not saved.

That is because Customer Panel login is completely separate from the WordPress credentials, and they cannot be changed together.
unfortunately it all depends on clearing the browser data; I am trying not to do it on my test page as often in order for it to keep me logged into my test customer panel.
I will make sure to submit a suggestion to the developers to see if there is any chance that we can make a permanent login (until client chooses to log out manually) in the future.
For now, not clearing cache is what I can advise, and also clicking Save when browser asks if you want it to remember password and username.
Could you please clarify which issue you are referring to?
At the moment we don't have integration with any membership plugin, so if you implemented a solution similar to the one that Nicolas described, then we cannot guarantee that will work flawlessly (simply because it's not supposed to).
However, if you don't use any membership tool, and Amelia's login doesn't work properly, please provide us with some more details of the issue.
Hi Amelia team! I hope you're doing well. :)

Here's the URL of the website : ateliersetsuko.com/espace-eleve/
I can privately provide the credentials to log in as a Amelia Customer or administrator if needed.
Thanks a lot in anticipation for your time :).
Nicolas.

Hi Ivana, thanks for your help.
So there's no quick fix to my issues I guess. I may not use the customer panel altogether then.
Is there a "quick" way to display upcoming appointments for the current user within a page? I am not relunctant to use some JS / PHP to do that.
Kind regards,
Nicolas

Hi, Krishna,
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
Could you please clarify which issue you are referring to?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
"Customer panel asking logged in users to log-in again"
This is my issue. If user is already logged in , and trying to access customer panel again login form appears.
Krishna,
It's hard to say anything without taking a look from the inside.
Please open a new private ticket under the "Amelia" category and provide us with a temporary WP Admin login.
Also, please provide us with a couple of names of the Customers who faced this issue.
Best Regards.
