We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    HI,
I sell yoga and breathing classes. Those are 5 or 10 weeks long. Every X days. I can do it through EVENTS and it shows in the calendar. But I have different price tag depending of the amount of classes taken, plus a drop in price.

How can I create this functionality and still be able to shows my classes in calendar view ?

    Hi Marilyn,

thank you for reaching out to ussmile.png

If you are using recurring events, prices will be the same for all events recurring from the first one.

You could optionally do this with Services, by using the feature Packages.

Via Packages, you can combine multiple services, and even discount them, to offer them as a "bulk" to your clients. Within Packages, you can choose which Services you'd like to join, how many appointments will a client have available to book (example: 3 appointments in the span of one month for each service), and even choose whether there will be a discount or not for the Package of Services.

Thank you, and i've found your tutorial on this topic this morning!
One more step missing for me here : how can I display that in a calendar?
For clients, i think it's easier to have a visual calendar than a somehow list of service.

    Thankk you again

    Hi Marilyn,

thank you for the kind reply!

There are two views for the package:

    [ameliasearch show=packages]

    [ameliacatalog show=packages]

    [ameliabooking show=packages]

Check them and see which one feels most suitable for yousmile.png

For the recurring appointments, when creating service, you can choose it to be recurring, then on the calendar you need to pick a start date, and click Repeat this appointment in order for this to show up.

    Hi Marilyn,

    thank you for contacting backsmile.png

That is the display of the recurring appointments, customer picks a start time and date on the calendar view, they choose to repeat the appointment, and they are asked until when they want to do so in Recurring step (the one that you have sent me the screenshot of).

They can only repeat the appointment at the same time, every day, every week, every month, etc.

You advised that there is no calendar; which calendar exactly? When you set the service to recurring, and place [ameliabooking] shortcode, you will see a calendar, pick a date and time, then pick until when it will be repeated and book.
