We haven't had this issue reported yet; are they identical?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Do you have any mailing plugins installed on your website? It could be that they're running the same notification more than once, but in that case I would receive it multiple times as well.
Try going into Amelia Settings/Activation, and enable "Load Entities on page load". See if that helps.
That shouldn't be causing the issue, Laurens, as you do need to add these parameters in Amelia's settings, otherwise it won't work.
I'll ask you to keep the credentials active, and I'll check with our developers by the end of the week, to see if we can replicate it and see what's going on.
We can't replicate the issue on our end, so can you please record your screen (video), showing us what's happening with the notifications?
Also, can you clone your website?
If yes - I'll ask you to install the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files that you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.
Please note that the files will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link.

My customer is stating that he (the site admin) and the site visitors receive the confirmation e-mail 3-5 times after booking an event.

Only one notification came in.
Can you ask your client to send us some screenshots of the issue? I checked your notification templates, and they're fine.

WP SMTP works well with Amelia, so I don't suppose that's what caused it.
Keep an eye on it, and see if it happens again. Test it yourself and see if you actually receive the notifications multiple times.
