Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    HI

I had connected google calendar and it works well. I am however unsure why it does not display Name and Surname of clients in Google Calendar and Zoom? I only get notification about TYPE of the service. So far I was using Calendly, and they tend to display names and surnames of my clients in Google Calendar  and Zoom, which is so helpful. I hope we can attain same result with AMelia?

    Hi Ayishah

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can add more placeholders, depending on what info you need to be sent.

This is done in Amelia > Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar > Event Description.

In the little boxes below you will find different placeholders, for different information; here is an example:

When a booking is copied into Google upon reservation, I will see appointment date and time, service name, and customer service name.

Unfortunately we don't have this shortcode available for metadata.

I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.

Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

    I will do

Another irregularity about Google integration I have noticed is that google can register now NAMES AND SURNAMES BUT DEOS NOT RELATE IT TO ZOOM. So in Google calendar I can se who am I seeing on a day and what time, but Zoom gives me only the Service Type, no names, no surnames.

How would you suggest to fix it?

    Hi Ayishah

If you want the Zoom link to be added to your employee's connected Google Calendar, you need to add %zoom_host_url% to the description of the event in Amelia settings/Integrations/Google Calendar.

Do let us know if you need any further assistance.
