I'm currently getting data from a MySQL table and front-end editing works, but I would like to customize the new entry form by including dropdowns.
I tried using Contact Form 7 and Contact Form DB, but I'm afraid this is too much for me. I can't figure it out.
Is there some way to get the best of both worlds - a robust front-end data submission form (with drop down selections, a data picker, etc.), and the ability to edit the table on the front end?
If I understand correctly, you can modify the new entry form only by changing the Editor input type in the Edit tab of the column's settings. There you would be able in what way you would like your users to enter new data in the table
If I misunderstood what you would like to achieve please a bit more or send us an example so we can get a better understanding and provide you with the best solution.
