I see that a lot of people are complaining about e-mail notifications not sending out to customers after booking. I have exactly the same problem.
I've tried every method that amelia plugin has, PHP mail, WP mail, SMTP, and Mailgun, all of them do not work !! The website itself uses Post SMTP that is configured with Mailgun, and the mail is sending fine.
All right. So when the Amelia plugin is active, my WP MAIL (POST SMTP PLUGIN) is not working, and basically all the mail sent from website is not working, showing AJAX ERROR, it includes all the woocommerce e-mails n stuff. When i disable amelia plugin, everything works fine.
Could it be that Amelia takes over the WP Mail? I was using Mailgun there aswell so i can track my e-mails, now i can't do that if this plugin is active.
thank you for reaching out to us; I apologize for the later response as we don't work on weekends.
Issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
1. Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings, and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
2. Your website has PHP version less than 7
3. The credentials are not correct
4. There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
5. If you're using Gmail, please make sure "Allow less secure apps" is enabled.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
