While the Detail icon appears above the table(s), nothing happens when I click it. The PDF button is also missing.
Some testing shows that the issue appears to be connected with caching...with the cache off, everything works fine.
Please can you advise me on how I can make sure that caching doesn't interfere with the plugin? (Other than keeping it off!) Thanks.

We are aware of some caching plugins causing conflict with our plugin so the only resolution would be to exclude the pages you have wpDataTables on from caching to avoid conflicts like this.
Could you please tell us of you are using any caching plugins and if you are able to exclude the pages with wpDataTables from caching?
