Can I get some clarification about the Maximum Number Of Events Returned option with google calendar integration? I have 2-way sync on where busy slots get removed but lately, it was having an issue picking up the information from Google Calendar. Thanks to an older ticket here I found changing the Maximum Number Of Events Returned from the default of 50 to something closer to 200 might fix the issue and it did.
I am looking to find some more information on the following so I can best configure my sites so this issue doesn't occur again without impact performance, -What exactly this setting is doing?
-If it is possible errors can occur when the number is set to the default what should it be set to?
- There is a limit of 2500 if that is selected what impact does this have on the speed and reliability of the system?
This setting serves to show Amelia everything you have in your Google Calendar, and to make sure to block those same times in Amelia Calendar.
For example if you enter a dentist visit on the 29th at 9am, you will not be at work, so when you enter this into Google Calendar, Amelia will "see" it, and make sure that the available slot for booking is blocked at 9am on 29th.
The number should be set to 2500; it's the fastest and safest way to make sure Amelia can see all of the busy dates you have in your Google Calendar. We haven't had any slow down issues so far, honestly, due to the highest setting being chosen; so I recommend setting it to that one.
