Hello,
I operate a service business and love using Amelia. I wanted to know if it is possible to limit the areas. My current issue is, I am getting appointments an hour from each other booked within an hour of the other one. Is there a workaround or do you do this and I missed it.
Hi, Jonah,
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
I'm afraid, at the moment it's not possible to limit areas with Amelia's built-in features.
Maybe, you can create separate booking forms for each area (for example, by using [ameliabooking location=1] shortcode if you want to show the booking form for the location with ID 1)? Also, you can create separate Services for each area, and for example, set the Buffer time before/after for the most distant ones to 30mins or 1h, so you will have more time to get there.
Also, your Customers will have to select their area before booking, so they won't be able to skip it as they can do with the Location selection drop-down.
I hope I understood your question correctly. If not, then please clarify the issue with more details.
Best Regards.
