I made myself an employee and have just been through the employee panel.
When making an appointment as an employee I can see ALL of our customers including their email addresses.
This isn't something we want our service providers having as they are contractors so having access to our customer details is not good. It also breaches our customer privacy terms of not sharing their details.
Is there a way to block our service providers from seeing this in their portal?
So there is no way to hide the customers from our service providers?
That's probably a major thing for a lot of us building these sites. Our service providers are not employees but contractors with their own businesses, we don't want them having access to this type of information.
I'll add it as a suggested feature but I think it's very important because we're claiming to not share private information but our projected 150+ service providers can access it.
I will forward this information to our developers, it's the only thing I can do now.
Just in case:
It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, so they won't be having the time for custom work in the near future.
But we can recommend these services for customization:
Just coming back to this again... is there a way we can deactivate the "new appointment" button in the employee portal? We don't need them adding their own appointments so until the issue with showing all customer details to employees (privacy issue) is fixed we'd like to remove this option all together. Is this possible?
Thank you so much for contacting backLiza is out of the office, so I hope that you don't mind that I am responding.
We can hide add new for both appointments and events with custom CSS; just please provide me with employee panel credentials and URL to the page where employee panel is. You can also add me as a "new" employee if you are not comfortable sharing your employee's password; just add me as an employee with any made up email, like [email protected] and make a password for me
Just remember to mark your reply as private because this is a public ticket.

Hi, Tania,
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
I'm afraid, at the moment it's not possible to assign only particular Customers to an Employee with the current built-in features in Amelia.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards.
Thanks for your reply Liz,

They do develop such solutions, so if you consider customization as an option, then you can reach out to them.

Thanks so much Liza,

That's great, thanks so much Ivana.
will the customised CSS remove it for all employees? This is what we want, for no one to be able to see it in their portal.
Yes, code should be general for all employees - I would ask you anyway to test it with them later to confirm
