I am using the Divi theme and I cannot display amelia correctly in a popup... it is displayed correctly when modifying the dimension of the browser window. I wasted a lot of time and regret my purchase...I saw that I am not the only one who has this problem and hope you can help me
Thank you for your purchase, and sorry for the inconvenience.
At the moment, Amelia works best with Elementor popups, so to see what's going on with your setup, I'll need to remote into your website and check out the popup and the page.
We added a shortcode for the popup - it needs to have the ID of the button that is calling the popup, so this is how one of the shortcodes should look like in the popup:
[ameliabooking trigger=amelia-button-id]
so if the button ID is "custom_trigger" it will be:
[ameliabooking trigger=custom_trigger]
So, you create a PopUp and set this shortcode in the popup (you need to use "shortcode" element, not an Amelia element).
When you create a button, on which the PopUp will be called, you set its Button ID (that you will provide in the shortcode above afterward). For Elementor, you need to enable the "Prevent Closing on Overlay" option in the popup settings:
I don't know if you have that option in the Divi builder, though.
If this doesn't help, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Hi Aleksandar, how are you? I have the same problem, I need to put the shortcode [ameliabooking] inside a popup window. I use the Divi theme and the "Popups for Divi" plugin.
Please, I need to solve it urgently!
I will be working on the site while I wait for your help! When you answer me, I send you the link to my site with the access data and I tell you where the popup window is.
I will be very attentive to the notification, lol (sorry for my english translation) Greetings! Frank.
Please don't leave your credentials in this ticket, as it's not your ticket, so you can't submit a private response, and if you add your credentials in public response, they will be visible to everyone.
Please open a new Private ticket, and I can help you through there.
As mentioned before - we can guarantee only for Elementor Popup at the moment. Other popups should work fine if you use the trigger, but we are facing some issues with them.
Have you tried using the Popup Maker plugin, as mentioned in one of the previous replies? Our team does have a task to tackle this, but there's still no ETA on when it will be fixed.

Have you tried the popup maker plugin? I've been using it on www.picabooth.nl/photobooths. Try booking a booth to see it in action.

I first found it when using a Divi Space theme. Let me know if it works for you.
PS: The site in still underconstruction so please excuse the mess.
Thanks for your help!
I hope this helps other users as well!
