Hello;
I run a small wedding service and have 5 different package levels. Since it is only me, I can only have one wedding per day due to travel and accommodations. I am trying to figure out how to make it so that when a person books a wedding, it blocks all other services for that day, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it, and I can't find any documentation on how to do it. Am I able to do this through Amelia?
Thank you.
Kenn Nelan
Hi Kenneth
Thank you for reaching out to us.
If you are the only employee and you can have only one service per day, you can set your working hours to full day and duration of the service should match the same number of hours so nobody else will be able to book anything else for that day since there will be no available time slots to book.
I hope this helps, do let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thank you so much for your reply; however, this does not help. I am, for the moment, the only employee, but I offer several packages for weddings and other services, but am only able to do one per day or time slot. I really don’t want to have to only put in one service per day and not give people a choice.
I know with Webba booking, they had a way that if someone booked something, it would block out the entire day from other bookings.
thanks,
Kenn Nelan
Hi Kenneth
You can add a "Day Off" either in Amelia Settings/Working Hours & Days Off, or in your employee's profile.
That way, existing appointments made with Amelia will still be held, but no one else will be able to book any other appointments during this day.
So, if I’m understanding you correctly, there is no way to do this automatically through the plugin like other plugins and services do? Is that correct?
Unfortunately not, at the moment this is the only workaround.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page.
